To support a member of the VFD Family

Two years ago after experiencing a transphobic incident on their doorsteps and a lack of front line service support, one of our community members' resilience and capacity were deeply affected. The past two years have been a long and difficult journey of recovery and rebuilding from the ground up.

In that time, they've worked tirelessly to manage outstanding debts, sign up for benefits, go through assessments, and access essential healthcare.

Now, with a dedicated case worker and a supportive team, they're finally starting to find their footing again.

We're asking for your help, we're looking to host a clothing fundraiser at our Outsider's Gallery on the 15th November 12pm - 6pm, free entry.

We are asking the community to donate clothes which will be sold to raise funds.

Fashion has always been a real source of joy and self-expression for them.

Every bit of support helps, whether through donations, buying an item of clothing, sharing this message, or offering encouragement.

Two years of rebuilding, beginning to function again. With our help, they can thrive.
