"Do They Know It's Christmas?"-Saturday 19th December

November 23, 2015 admin
Dark-Disco_December-19th.jpg

'Do They Know It's Christmas?'is a number 1 hit single recorded in a single day on 25 November 1984 by Band Aid, a supergroup put together by Geldof (The Boomtown Rats) and Ure (Ultravox (Official)) and consisting mainly of the biggest British and Irish musical acts at the time, including members of Spandau Ballet (Official), Heaven 17 (Official), Bono & other U2 members, Duran Duran, Boy George & Culture Club, George Michael from Wham!, Paul Young, Phil Collins, Sting and more. The second version recorded in 1989 by PWL included Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Jimmy Somerville, Bananarama (which was in the first one as well), Sonia and more...

As we are getting into the festive mood, we thought it's about time to let loose and enjoy ours and yours favorite and hidden guilty plasure 80's hits, so don't be shy and post your tunes on the wall, from Madonna to Rick Astley, Cyndi Lauper to A-ha, Alphaville, Wham! or Kylie Minogue... You name it, post it on the event wall... and we might just play it ;-)

So for this festive night only we are going to play all 80's, New wave, Europop, Post punk, Italo Disco, New Romantics & New Beat.

On the music: DJ Shai Rothfeld Guest DJ Mark Carter (The Thin Wall, LIVING ON VIDEO) Playing all your (secretly) favourite tunes!
